Australia's First Nations Political Party
24 July 2013
Australia's First Nations Political Party proudly announces new Northern Territory pre-selections of two candidates for the upcoming Federal elections:
Rosalie Kunoth Monks OAM for the Senate.
Kenneth Lechleitner for the seat of Lingiari in the House of Representatives.
Both of these candidates are excellent representatives of the party's philosophies of inclusiveness and justice for all Territorians. Social justice and a safeguarding of all cultures through mutual respect underpin all our policies.
Rosalie is a well known leader and Territory trailblazer. She was the star of Jedda and has been a tireless campaigner throughout her life for rights and recognition.
Kenneth is a family man who places family values first as a cross cultural consultant and accredited interpreter, being a fluent speaker of Anmatjere, Western Aranda and Warlpiri.
Rosalie Kunoth Monks adds “that it is about working together with compassion to achieve equal rights for everyone.”
It's time to give a voice to all Territorians!
