More Hypocrisy for First Nations in Australia

Anthony Albanese and Joe Morrison

Professor Ghillar Michael Anderson, Convenor of the Sovereign Union, last surviving member of the founding four of the Aboriginal Embassy and Head of State of the Euahlayi Peoples Republic highlights the hypocrisy exposed by PM Albanese’s refusal to legislate the UNDRIP, UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, into Australian domestic law, and questions the Indigenous Land and sea Corporation’s (ILSC’s) ability to promote self-determination through economic independence. According to a new report released by the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Victoria Tauli-Corpuz, there has been a distinct surge of instances of physical violence and criminalization aimed at Indigenous Peoples globally. The United Nations has described Australia's lack of progress on Closing the Gap as "woefully inadequate", saying the over-incarceration of Indigenous people is a major human rights concern. cop22 Morocco Climate Summit Marrakech 2016

it's important to know that the delay in countries signing the Paris Agreement was caused by both Australia and the USA threatening to walk away if other parties refused to permit various out clauses.

Notable and critical examiners of the Paris Agreement all agree that the symbolism was great for the world facing catastrophies because of climate change, especially those of the small Pacific Islands and low coast lands. [node:read-more:link]

Sovereign Union Letter to United Nations - SOS Forced closure of Aboriginal homeland communities in WA

I write this letter as a matter of urgency. Despite a national day of protest across the whole of the Australian continent on 19 March 2015 against the forced closures of Aboriginal homeland communities, the state governments have arrogantly ignored our protests and continue unabated. The mainstream media media in Australia are blacking out any attention as if the forced closures are not happening. This is a cry for help as our communities do not have the resources to stave off the Australian assault on Aboriginal Peoples and their lands. [node:read-more:link]

Refugee Camp in Perth and developing Humanitarian Crisis

As the appointed Ambassador of the original Aboriginal Embassy, the Convenor of the Sovereign Union and Head of State, Euahlayi Peoples Republic, I herewith bring to your attention the humanitarian crisis that has now developed in the state of Western Australia. This crisis is a consequence of the Western Australian government's policy of shutting down up to 150 Aboriginal homelands and communities, which they have wrongly stated to be financially 'unsustainable' and economically unviable. We regard these actions as an an act of war and aggression against the various tribal Nations in Western Australia. [node:read-more:link]
