Sports star and activist Joe Williams has suggested a new national anthem - saying Advance Australia Fair does not represent many Australians, especially Indigenous people. Mr Williams has published to Twitter little-known lyrics from the original version of Advance Australia Fair which included references to 'Brittania'. The lyrics were left out of the anthem when it was officially adopted in 1984. The old lyrics said: 'When gallant Cook from Albion sail'd, To trace wide oceans o'er, True British courage bore him on, Till he landed on our shore .... Brittania then shall surely know, Beyond...
