First Nations prepare legal way forward for sovereign rights

Ghillar, Michael Anderson, reporting that the Sovereign Union Gathering of Nations held at the Yarramundi Cultural Centre, Canberra, from 23 to 25 November 2018 successfully dealt with key issues facing First Nations.
Those attending came from across the continent and welcomed the opportunity to raise the problems they face and to understand ways of dealing with them, while joining the dots to understand the bigger picture of forced assimilation through fraud and deceit. [node:read-more:link]

Meet the Sovereign Union mob at the Aboriginal Embassy and march with us to Government House to deliver a Proclamation and another First Nation Declaration of Independence to the Governor-General.

  • The Proclamation will focus on usurpation as genocide, which continues to this very day, only this time they call it Native Title and Recognise.
  • The Declaration will declare the falsehood of the British claim of ownership over this continent.

In the two days of the Gathering of Nations the 150 participants, delegates and observers from all over Australia, were presented with research and information in respect to the key issues facing First Nations Peoples today and the progress to date in the assertion of First Nations sovereignty at a national level. We very clearly articulated the internationally accepted process for assertion of sovereignty by Nations and Peoples subjugated by a foreign power and expanded on the need for decolonisation. Australia's facade of creating the illusion of compensation for redressing past imperial colonial acts through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Act 2008 as amended, in which redress for dispossession was claimed, has at last been exposed. The UN Human Rights Committee in Geneva and 110 Member States have recently united in their condemnation of Australia’s Human Rights performance in respect of its treatment of refugees but, more importantly, the focused criticism of Australia's treatment of our Peoples across this country. UDIs on agenda at Gathering of Nations 21-22 November in Canberra

A Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI) is a formal process leading to the establishment of a fully recognized state, which declares itself an independent and sovereign pre-existing state without a formal agreement with the occupying nation state, because the two have never been together. "Many people are wanting to understand UDIs," said Ghillar Anderson, "This topic will be discussed at the upcoming Gathering of Nations on 21 -22 November 2015 in Old Parliament House, Canberra.
