A meeting of representatives from across the continent gathered to confirm their intent to form a National Unity Government of the Sovereign Union of First Nations Peoples in Australia. This intent was confirmed with representatives formally signing an Act of Sovereign Union between First Nations Peoples in Australia on the 25th May 2012.

How to support the law against Genocide Bill in Australian Parliament–extended deadline 26 July

The Criminal Code 1995 urgently needs amending so that Australia finally has an operating law against Genocide. In February 2024 Senator Lidia Thorpe introduced to parliament a Private Senators Bill on Genocide named the Criminal Code Amendment (Genocide, Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes) Bill 2024. She gained the support of the Senate to send it to an inquiry. We need many submissions to the Senate Criminal Code Amendment Inquiry to be submitted before 5 July. The Inquiry findings to be released on 13 November 2024.
Blak Sovereignty Movement Brisbane meeting

A Blak Sovereignty meeting took place at Musgrave Park, Brisbane (Jagera Nation) on 9 & 10 December 2023 where several Nations had sent delegates to discuss the Blak Sovereignty Movement’s political and legal objectives going forward. It was acknowledged by the meeting that for many of our First Nation people the referendum’s deceitful promise by the Labor Party and its privately selected leadership gave false hope to our grassroots membership, who were led to believe that the Voice to Parliament was the answer to all their prayers.

"Bury Our Dead” is a public appeal to say that, if the government and military forces are not prepared to accept the challenge to locate and help us bury our dead, then we have another very good argument as to why the public should vote ‘No’ for a proposed First Nations Voice to parliament, that will not reap any real rewards. In this day and age of truth-telling and a proposition that the Australian constitution should include recognition of First Nations Peoples to grant us a Voice, is all without the truth.
